Afghan, Old Silver Pendant

This extraordinary silver pendant pretty well defies description. There are many knobs and protrusions in three clusters.

It may be Aghan but has a heavy Indian feel to it. (We got it in Pakistan but it may have travelled a distance before we found it.)

I think it would best be worn vertically as the centrepiece of a choker, it would sit well, worn at the throat.

It has two broad suspension (7 mm) rings set one above the other and therefore not allowing a single cord through both, these holes are totally accessible so you can't fit a rigid choker through them. A soft cord or chain would be easier to use.

The silver has acquired a dusty old deep grey patina with the high points slightly cleaner but not shiny or bright.

Careful polishing with a dry Silver Polishing Cloth will bring up these  details but the recesses will have to stay dark for emphasis, DON'T use a dip or chemicals to clean it.
