Bactrian Medium "conical" turned Alabaster Cup

A plain Bactrian drinking vessel/cup, a flat bottomed, truncated cone of turned stone, elegant in it’s simplicity.
Semi-opaque creamy/golden alabaster, with overall surface pitting and fine scratches, from the manufacturing process.
In near excellent condition, with only one, very tiny, recent chip on rim, (1 mm x 2 mm.)
Only a fraction lighter, than it’s surrounds, it’s almost invisible.
Seems almost quibbling to mention it.
And a small green stain on the rim may be verdigris from contact with copper or bronze during burial (?)

Age: Circa 2nd Millenium B.C.

Size: W 107 mm x H 50 mm

Weight: 196 grams
