Nepalese Shaman's Dagger

Old carved wooden “phurga”, used in various parts of Nepal by Shamans for ritual Exorcisms.

The handle includes triple faces, facing and defending, in all directions.
Lovely dark patina, worn smooth with handling.
Retaining it’s original “pennants” of dirty old fraying cotton shred/cord.
“Phurga” are used throughout the Buddhist Himilayas, differing qualities being used by differing ranks from Shamans upto Monks and Abbots.
