Uzbek Enamelled "Gilt"Earrings.

Sorry, this exceptional pair of earrings is no longer available. However, we may still have some similar ones.

Gilt silver “Bukharan style” earrings probably made by Uzbek or Kazak Silversmiths in Northern Afghanistan. (I could be wrong these may actually be from Uzbekistan.)

With dangling twisted gold spirals ending in small hand faceted dyed "Green Agate" beads and greyish "Fresh Water Pearls". This pair have an added flourish with extra dangling enamelled details including inverted "fleur de lys" and "Klimtian" spiral/triangles.

The gilt has a convincingly rich, warm 22 ct glow to it, over almost "sterling silver" with  fine gold stamped/embossed scrolls separating the coloured enamel areas. (This pair are probably modern "cold enamel" and therefore of recent manufacture, however the detailing is very fine and it appears that this is how they are made today.)

Whilst they may never have led a "Tribal" life, we consider these to be very wearable contemporary Tribal Costume Jewellery.

Perfect for sophisticated Belly Dancers, light with fine, colourful detail but not too long for general wear.

The hook for the ear, is of an easily worn size of less than 1 mm.
