Indian, Silver Flower Ring.

Sorry, this cute ring is no longer available.

An old dark silver filigree constructed flower, on a narrow, plain band.

The raised, plain central boss culminates in a plain silver nipple and is surrounded by six cut out silver diamonds.

In good condition with little wear, some tiny dents and pitting, now gaining a nice dark patina.

There seems to be some variance in the surface colour of the silver, possibly either residual plating or badly mixed silver, resulting in darker patches.
However this is original and adds to its charm, like “abrash” in rugs.

A polish with a dry polishing cloth, every now and then, might bring up its highlights, but I would hesitate before trying.

The flower, has an approximate Diameter of 27 mm, and is very similar but smaller than the Turquoise Flower Ring, see TR114.

It’s hard finding pieces like this so worn, as to visually be at their best, but still sturdy enough to be wearable.

Bought in either Pakistan or India, but most probably India.

Well balanced on a hand but also good on a small dancing thumb!

Age: Mid/Late 20 th Century.

Size: For a small to medium finger, about size “P” (US 18)

Weight: 7 grams
