Indian, Silver Turquoise Ring.
Sorry this ring is no longer available.
A silver flower ring with a raised central boss holding a small blue Turquoise dome, probably from India or Pakistan, where it was found.
This centre is surrounded by ten other small Turquoises, in various subtle shades, each set within a contrasting dark resin, with tiny silver balls as highlights.
The band is extremely plain, with a very mellow patina, tapering away from the flower to a raised boss at the back.
Very nice on the finger, these have always been popular.
It doesn’t need a polish, but later when you feel it does, just gently use a dry Silver Polishing cloth.
I wouldn’t expose it to extreme heat or solvents in case I melted the resin that holds the stones in.
Age: Late 20 th Century.
Size: “P” (US 18)
Weight: 11 grams.
