Pakistani, Enamelled Silver Bracelet.

Another extraordinary bracelet from either Aghanistan or Pakistan, possibly Multan where they do the deep blue “lapis like” enamelling. Basically six 3D sculpted, hollow “tureens” decorated with embossed silver designs coloured with green and deep blue enamels.
These are threaded onto a thick black cord, which has been decoratively bound with silver thread in a zebra stripe.
It doesn’t jingle and doesn’t need to as visually it is stunning on the wrist.

Fixed on the wrist with a loop and a bound ball, it would fit a wrist up to 160 mm.

I’m not sure of the symbolism but you can guarantee that protection and wealth will be involved in its wear.
Nor am I sure as to its origins except we found it near the Khyber Pass, but things travel a long way and nearly everything has to come through the pass.
