Pashtun, Small Dangly Earrings.

Another pair of wearable dangly Pashtun Tribal Silver earrings from the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Pashtuns love their bright colours often using flashy faceted glass in wild colour combinations, all for excitement and of course protection from the dreaded Evil Eye.

From a 1mm ish thick (not too thick) hook, an eight petalled stamped silver flower, with a faceted red glass centre, and on either side tiny twisted silver wire and bead dangles.
Beneath them, hanging independently is an open silver filigree dome suspending a fringe of silver beaded twisted wire dangles.

The silver flower is brighter than the filigree which has a relaxed light grey patina, which we leave unpolished for you to judge the patina/age.
However a careful, light polish with a dry silver polishing cloth will re awaken the highlights and make the recesses look darker.

These are a very wearable, dangly, even jiggly pair of authentic Tribal earrings, old enough to be interesting, with enough tiny faults to have character and actually quite hard to find.
That is, to find good ones that are just right, usually they are too big, too heavy, the ear wires are too thick or they’re too knocked around !

So we hope you can see the value in these “just right” Tribal Bellydancing Earrings.

We may still have a few similar pieces, to see them try searching for "pashtun dangly" on this site.
