Pashtun, Small Dangly Earrings.

A wearable pair of dangly Pashtun Tribal Silver earrings from the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The Pashtuns love their bright colours often using flashy faceted glass in wild colour combinations, all for excitement and of course protection from the dreaded Evil Eye.
From a 1mm thick (not too thick) hook, a decorated hexagonal silver plate with a faceted red glass centre has two glass bead dangles on either side.
Beneath them, hanging independently is a fluted silver dome suspending a fringe of white, red and blue beaded dangles. (all appear intact except two, one in each centre is shorter.)

The silver has a relaxed grey patina, which we leave unpolished for you to judge the patina/age.
However a careful, light polishwith adry silver polishing cloth will re awaken the highlights and make the recesses look darker.

These are a very wearable, dangly, even jiggly pair of authentic Tribal earrings, old enough to be interesting, with enough tiny faults to have character and actually quite hard to find.
That is, to find good ones that are just right, usually they are too big, too heavy, the ear wires are too thick or they’re too knocked around !
So we hope you can see the value in these “just right” Tribal Bellydancing Earrings.
