Lakai Uzbek Pair of Hangings

A pair of decorative Lakai Uzbek, crosstitch embroidered vertical panels, with a double row of suspended tassels, with silvery ‘gilit’ alloy beads.

Two dynamic ‘sunbursts’ stacked vertically, stacked vertically, with inset double arrows.
An interesting, muted colour scheme of subdued burgundy, yellow, emerald/olive and pink, defined by design itself with no borders.

This piece appears to be relatively new, with older, possibly Turkoman twisted tassels, utilizing silvery alloy beads offset with black glass..

Topped with a long tapering red cotton flap, currently knotted, but easily undone.
This flap could easily fold down, to hang on a wall.
Both backed with the same faded blue and pink (!) plaid (tartan?)

You could attach it to a bag front, but consolidate the tassel junctures first, and strengthen them lengthwise.

So many applications, over curtain rods, and curtains.
