Pashtun, Silver Ring with Mirror

A truly marvelous ring, with brilliantly rich, bevelled mirror mounted onto more bevelled mirror.

Deepest translucent Blue set onto Deepest translucent Red.

Surrounded by dark and detailed silver work, worn smooth with wear.

On a decorated band, this ring would stand up to a close up in a Fantasy Movie!

A very deep, dark patina in the recesses, the shiny silver has mellowed beautifully.

You could of course maintain this contrast with judicious polishing with a dry polishing cloth.
The present colour is lovely set off by the rich glasses.

From the border regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, either village or nomad, borders mean nothing.

For similar multi coloured Pashtun rings, see also PR112, PR113, PR118 and PR127, if they are still available.

For a lucky finger about Size “N” (U.S. 6.5) OR for minor adjustment (smaller) you could use THE wound cotton trick, this ring will accommodate it easily!

Age: Early/Mid 20 th Century.

Weight: 10 grams
