Pashtun, Glass and Silver Ring

A wide silver ring with flat mirrored glass inserts, rich deep blues, greens and faded reds, almost clear.

From the border regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, either village or nomad, borders mean nothing.

Lots of character, now distinguished/mellowed by age.

Two stones are missing, but not immediately obvious, as a packing residue remains.
(Don’t wear it in water in case it isn’t waterproof, or if you’re crafty, and feel the need, a drop of clear epoxy resin in each would fix these holes, sealing this residue. The insertion first of a small piece of coloured lolly foil, would be quite authentic, too!)

The band is solid but narrow, size “N” (U.S. 7)

For similar multi coloured Pashtun rings, see also PR118, PR113, PR127 and TR124, if they are still available.

One for the Romantic, remember it’s hard to find genuinely old ones,
retaining just enough to show it’s age and still be wearable..

Age: Mid 20 th Century.

Size: L 30 mm x W 21 mm
