Pashtun, Coloured Glass and Silver Ring

A longish silver ring with many rich red and green faceted glass inserts, held in with zig zag teeth, the centre is an AB (Aurora Borealis) almost clear, which changes colour with movement.

Lots of character, now distinguished/mellowed by age,, note wear on large red glasses. The band is plain/solid, about 6mm wide, size “0+” (U.S. 7 ish)

From the border regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, either village or nomad, borders mean nothing.

Another for the Romantic, but pretty rich, for the Belly Dancer, too.

For similar multi coloured Pashtun rings, see also PR112, PR118, PR127 and TR124, if they are still available.

Remember it’s hard to find genuinely old ones, retaining just enough to show it’s age and still be wearable..

Age: Mid/ Late 20 th Century.

Size: L 26 mm x W 18 mm Finger “O+” (US 7 ish.)

Weight: 7 grams
