Ersari Turkoman, Medium Silver Cuff

Sorry, this plain silver cuff no longer available, however we may have similar cuffs here soon, just search Silver Cuff.

A heavily reinforced plain silver Ersari Cuff, with a decorative reinforcing band with applied rows of triangles, ending in three spoon/tongues protruding into and determining the opening.
(compare this with it’s pair,TC 114. There is a minor difference in the centre filigree band, TC 114 is finer.)

Nice old chunky piece with good dull patina.

It could of course be polished slightly, with a dry polishing cloth,
to reveal all it’s minor knocks and scuffs.

Has a slightly rounded feel, fitting a “rounder” wrist,
best to avoid remoulding it.

Try gently wriggling a limp, or relaxed wrist (open hand, loose fingers) into the gap,
slowly wobbling or rolling the hand from side to rather than pushing.
Do it just behind that knobbly bone,
on your lower fore arm,
where you only have two bones to negotiate,
not lower, where all your tendons are !
Any force, tension or pushing tightens your tendons.
Just look at the difference on your tendons, as you open and close your fingers.

Age: Mid/Late 20th century.

Size: L 51 mm x Internal wrist width 61 mm x 44 mm. (Tooth gap tapers from 30 mm to 26 mm.)

Weight: 95 grams.
