Ersari Turkoman, Silver and Amber Ring

An Ersari Turkoman, therefore plain silver medium ring, with unusual use of Amber (usually they use Carnelian, both for their protective powers.)
Not very old, unless the stone is a replacement, as Amber marks more easily with wear.
Very plain with only four cut out holes and a ring, where it would have held a chain and thimble, or been part of a slave bracelet. (If you’re lucky we may still have one complete Slave Bracelet, seek TB121. )
It has a mellow smooth patina, surrounding the stone.
This simple ring would suit a finger about Size “N” (US Size 6.5.)
I like the dull patina to the surface, but you can use a polishing cloth if you wish, it’ll come up well, with care.

Age: Late 20th century.

Weight: 4 grams
