Yomud Turkoman, Embossed Silver Earhooks

A pair of Ersari or Yomud silver “rams’ horns” earhooks, with embossed silver dimple borders, and small raised bosses.
They have a dramatic, sculptural presence, but they’re quite light, being hollow, and not dangling, so there is less pull.
With a very sturdy hook, about 16 gauge, for experienced ear lobes only.
(We may also have a similar pair TE224, with more “fire gilt” and Carnelian, if you prefer.)
I can’t place them in any specific tribal style, the “rams’ horn” shape is very Ersari, the surface quite Yomud, but they could be another lesser known group, of which there are many, enjoy!
They’ve acquired a mellow, almost matte tone in their patina, with the merest hint of gilding on their fronts.
Lovely as they are, if you decide to polish them, just very gently use a dry polishing cloth.,
